Abstract

Our research builds off of existing work on stereotype threat to study racial minorities in digital collaborative environments. In particular, our work is focused on the extent to which one’s ambient environment can trigger changes in how minorities communicate and work with others. We are investigating how minorities are impacted by their digital environments while completing collaborative tasks, as well as how these environments influence the ways in which minorities interact and perform with others.
