The Whaling Station of Nossa Senhora da Piedade was the first and largest whaling village of Santa Catarina, completed in 1746, in the mainland at the north entrance of the Island of Santa Catarina. The objective of this communication is to analyze the remaining structures of this archeological site, including the spatial arrangements of buildings through their functionalities. The main reference for this research is the copy of the Topographic Map of Armacao da Piedade by Navy Intendant Jose Mario Pinto and dated of 1829.
