Four executive scholars will share cases illustrating innovative leadership responses used in response to turbulent times. Presenters will explore the role of humility, transcendental leadership, design thinking, and appreciative inquiry. Humility offers a path to a counter-cultural leadership responses that have allowed firms to leverage the wisdom of crowds when facing strategic challenges. New understandings in transcendental leadership offer fresh insights for responding to organizational crises. Likewise, design thinking has helped a global pharmaceutical company overcome ever-shifting market and regulatory conditions. Finally, a large utility company fosters innovation amidst cyber threats and stringent regulatory requirements through appreciative inquiry.
