The plenary session "Democracy in Crisis: Civil Society at Stake" will address the role and position of civil society in the context of various turbulent changes. The discussion will focus on the critical issue of democratic decline in various parts of the world and its impact on civil society. Bringing together panelists of various backgrounds and expertise we aim to broaden the discussion concerning forms of resilience and adaptation of civil society in response to those global challenges with a focus on climate activism, digital technology, migration and refugee governance. The session will include a debate and dialogue among the panelists, as well as an interactive discussion with the audience. We invite you to participate in this insightful session to explore different perspectives on civil society's role in difficult times as well as its potential to bring positive change. Your insights and engagement will play a crucial role in shaping the conversation and envisioning the future of activism around the world.
