Session Submission Type: Panel
Chile's development process, while generally considered to have been highly successful, brought with it rapid processes of social change that have generated new tensions between individuals and society at large. These tensions have impacted on the way individuals perceive each other as well as on new forms of political action. This panel reviews several expressions of the social change that have emerged in recent years in the shape of educational and cultural shifts, mobilization and different perceptions of individual subjectivity.
