"Literacy Research: Illuminating the Future"
December 4 - 7, 2019
Tampa, FL (Tampa Marriott Water Street)
The theme, Literacy Research: Illuminating the Future, calls for paradigmatic, theoretical, methodological, and substantive diversity. We celebrate the polyphony of our rich and diverse field by recognizing that no one lens can fully capture the complexities and nuances of the phenomenon we refer to as literacy. We embrace a full gamut of perspectives and approaches to make sense of and advocate for literacy. We call for rigorous research that gleans insights from the past, sheds light on the present, and illuminates the future of literacy practices, policies, and research.
