The present study created a survey instrument to explore K-6 teachers’ perceptions of technology integration in reading instruction. Factor analysis results indicate a three-factor model, in which utilization, advocacy, and efficiency impact teacher perceptions of technology integration. Teachers perceived the various benefits of technology as one combined factor, and it intercorrelated with the utilization of technology in classroom instruction. Additionally, demographic and contextual factors play an important role in influencing K-6 teachers’ perceptions of technology integration.
