This study examines the impact of time-constrained reading in print and digital formats on reading comprehension among international doctoral students who learned English as a foreign language. Nine participants were divided into three groups, completing IELTS reading passages in both formats. The print was preferred for deeper comprehension, while digital offered speed but introduced distractions. Statistical analysis showed better comprehension in print. Findings highlight the need to provide both formats to accommodate diverse learning preferences.
