Reading Science - Learning with Texts in Science Education.

Abstract

This presentation highlights science literacy from a major project in Denmark (2022-2026). Covering phase two, an observational study, it shows that literacy’s crucial role in science learning and the need for teachers to emphasize it. We present findings of selected literacy activities in science texts and science teaching. The project aims to explore how improved literacy skills ensure equality for all children.
