This qualitative case study explores the impact of a specialized literacy course for 25 caregivers of multilingual students in a southeastern U.S.school district. Grounded in the Dual Capacity Building Framework and Culturally Sustaining Pedagogy, analyses identify strategies caregivers adopted, reported successes and challenges, and the course's impact on home literacy practices.Caregivers implemented reading, writing, and oral language activities, fostering engagement despite challenges like time constraints, support for first-language literacy, and children’s motivation.
