This study examines how pre-service teachers (PSTs) utilize digital jumpstarts (DJs) to scaffold complex content and introduce critical literacy practices. Findings indicate that DJs foster creativity, support multilingual learners, and provide a platform for engaging students in critical discussions. By integrating digital storytelling, PSTs develop instructional strategies that bridge theory and practice, fostering deeper student engagement and social awareness.
