This paper examines how multilingual college students from immigrant backgrounds experienced their heritage languages while growing up in the U.S. Despite the increase in the multilingual population in higher education institutions, the limited research on multilingual students has been mainly centered on Spanish-English bilingual students’ experiences. Understanding multilingual young adults’’ past and present experiences with their heritage language can provide insights into the challenges and opportunities they encountered.
