Designing and Developing an Online Hub for Disseminating Accessible Literacy Learning Resources

Abstract

Situated within a larger design-based research study of a federally funded, state-wide community outreach project to construct just and meaningful literacy learning opportunities for K-12 students, this presentation describes the process of designing, implementing, and formatively revising a literacy-focused dynamic website to promote community engagement in the first and second phases of the project. Findings indicated the developmental considerations included feedback across stakeholders to expand age-appropriate multimodal resources and increase accessibility features for community need.
