Statewide legislation and curricular mandates have required changes to literacy instruction in public elementary schools across the United States. This roundtable session presents pilot data from three survey instruments designed to examine the statewide implementation of the Virginia Literacy Act by elementary teachers, literacy specialists and school administrators. Following review of modifications made based on pilot results, participants will be invited to provide feedback to improve survey content and administration plans.
