In today’s political climate where even expressing sympathy for Palestine can be considered antisemitic, research into Palestinian children’s literature is crucial to promoting open dialogue in classrooms. While studies about the Israeli perspective on the Israel-Palestine conflict are numerous, there is limited literature that considers the Palestinian point of view. This study analyzes Palestinian children’s literature to determine their rehumanizing potential for Palestinians. Findings point to a yearning for peaceful resolutions rather than continued violence.
