Abstract

This design-based study examines the Data-Centered Literacy Coaching (DCLC) model, which situates student data at the center of instructional coaching. Grounded in systems change and adult learning theory, DCLC unfolds through iterative stages blending research, practice, and feedback. By anchoring coaching decisions in data, it accelerates teacher pedagogy and addresses gaps linking coaching to measurable improvements for all learners.
