Information Overload? The Impact of Scandals on Candidate Evaluation

Brief Overview

We suggest that while a single scandal can negatively impact the evaluation of a candidate, the effect is not additive. Rather, multiple scandals will result in cognitive overload, lessening the negative impact that would occur with a single scandal.
