When Grievances Overweigh Prejudices? Protest diffusion from a social identity perspective

Brief Overview

We built an agent-based model using parameters from social identity theory to study movement formation. We propose that politically less charged/salient issues bear fewer stigma: more groups are more likely to adopt them as causes.
