You Change, I Change: How Donors Respond to Leadership Change in Recipient Countries

Brief Overview

This study argues that leadership changes in recipient countries cause more changes in how much aid they receive, and such an effect is moderated by their regime types. A case fixed effects analysis using OECD aid data lends support to this argument.
