Two Platforms, Two Audiences: Comparing Policy Content in Tweets and Newsletters

Brief Overview

We analyze the content of all tweets and newsletters sent from Senate offices between January and June of 2015. We find that audience effects influence Senators' expressed policy agenda, which varies by platform.
