Defensive Jihad as a Means of Jus Ad Bellum

Brief Overview

In this paper I will argue defensive jihad, as opposed to offensive jihad, is more compatible with main Islamic sources and should be emphasized by reform-oriented Islamic authorities to curb sentiments for offensive jihad.
