Words and Weapons: Analyzing Reactions to Gun Violence with a Social Media Panel

Brief Overview

I use a social media panel dataset to analyze reactions to mass shooting. Looking at each persons source of incoming messages, I discover that elite messages about gun policy increase the likelihood an individual will engage with gun control issues.
