Brief Overview

This paper will analyze the goals & strategies adopted by 6 claimant states (Brunei, China, Malaysia, the Philippines, Taiwan, Vietnam) and 5 outsiders (Australia, Japan, India, Indonesia, the U.S) to show that a hot conflict in the SCS is unlikely.
