Barriers to Minority Access to Healthcare in Central and Eastern Europe and Latin America

Brief Overview

Using quantitative and qualitative data from interviews with minority health experts, I find that social determinants of access to healthcare, e.g., geography, poverty and language pose the biggest barrier to Bulgarian Roma and indigenous Peruvians.
