Low Political Efficacy Breeds High Political Trust: Justifying Political Systems in the Authoritarian Society

Brief Overview

We apply system justification theory to study the link between internal political efficacy and political trust in the authoritarian society and find that the politically powerless are more likely to justify the political system in this context.
