Liberté, Égalité… Médianité? Testing Downs and Campbell in the 2007 and 2012 French Presidential Runoffs

Brief Overview

Are Downs (1957) and Campbell et al. (1960) transferable outside the States, like France's two-round presidential elections? I test this using runoff polls tracking vote choices of defeated candidates' supporters in 2007 and 2012.
