EU referendum campaign dynamics and the political elite: An analysis of the responsive activity of MPs on Facebook

Brief Overview

I examine the relationship between the EU referendum activity of UK MPs, on Facebook, external shocks and changes in the polls. I find that, unlike civil society actors, MPs did not respond to these events and changes, suggesting limited engagement.
