At the Intersection of Age, Gender, and Sexuality: How Candidate Identities Affect Candidate Evaluations in an Experimental Setting

Brief Overview

This study uses an original vignette survey (YouGov, N=2000) to assess how a candidate’s gender, age, and sexuality affect electoral support. Most notably, we find that gay women face substantial biases when it comes to garnering electoral support.
