Social Trust and development in China, 1990–2018

• In Event: Responsive Authoritarianism: New Evidence from the Chinese Case

Brief Overview

Using a group-level IRT model, we obtain TSCS social trust in China. Aggregating the estimates with province-level data, and applying fixed effect model, analysis shows that social trust have a positive effect on development.
