Electoral Rules, Winners and Losers, and Perceptions of Ideological Congruence

Brief Overview

We focus on how ideological congruence is perceived by individuals, and how the perceptions of congruence vary across electoral systems. The results show that electoral winners perceive greater congruence and it is stronger in majoritarian systems.
