Interviewer Experiences and Response Rates: Understanding Tactics of Tailoring by TEDS2018 Face-to-Face Interviewers in Taiwan

Brief Overview

Interviewing with 16 face-to-face interviewers and analyzing sequences in their survey requests, I find that experienced interviewers “tailor” survey requests by using less sequences and adopting other tactics to attain higher response rates.
