The Private and Public Sector Union Effect on Income Inequality

Brief Overview

I argue that private sector unions reduce inequality more than public sector unions. The empirical study examines 20 wealthy democracies. I find that private sector unions reduce various forms of income inequality, while public sector unions do not.
