What Type of Good is Education? A Rawlsian Analysis of Education's Role in the Basic Structure

Brief Overview

Using Wisconsin v. Yoder as a case study, I apply a Rawlsian framework to argue that education is the precondition to accessing the basic liberties. This results in the demand that liberal democracies provide universal, equal access to this good.
