Does Resentment Travel? Racial and Religious Resentment in Indonesia*

Brief Overview

We adapt the racial resentment framework for use in Indonesia. Applied to survey responses in the 2019 presidential campaign, we find that resentment is a powerful and unique predictor of partisanship among reluctant responders.
