Secession of South Sudan: What This Example Reveals About the Theory of Self-Determination

Brief Overview

The crisis in South Sudan suggests that secession can never be justified. However, the ideals of self-determination should cause one to endorse this secession and I use that this event is a way to deepen theoretical conceptions of self-determination.
