Coordinated Misinformation? Testing the Association between Coordinated Link Sharing and Engagement with Misinformation

Brief Overview

We find that COVID-19 articles containing inaccurate COVID-19 headlines are more likely to be shared in a coordinated manner on Facebook than accurate headlines, and coordinated inaccuracies receive more engagement than non-coordinated inaccuracies.
