Redistributive Preferences: the Role of Experiences with Extreme Income Inequality

Brief Overview

Using an experimental game, we study the behavior of subjects who experience extreme income inequality. We find that subjects are exposed to extreme levels of income inequality redistribute more than subjects exposed to moderate levels of inequality.
