Becoming visible: Threshold effects of immigration on the European Far-Right

Brief Overview

We employ new threshold estimators to assess the presence of thresholds in immigration w.r.t. Far Right voting with endogenous immigration. We find evidence of threshold effects, a finding with policy implications for combating political extremism.
