Making A Large State Small: The Meaning of Reform in Rousseau’s Government of Poland

Brief Overview

This paper argues that “reform” in Rousseau’s Government of Poland starts from the problem of the large size of the state. His small state hypothesis in Social Contract was applied to Government of Poland, showing how to make a large state "small".
