Land Grabs and Perceptions of Foreign Investment

Brief Overview

I argue that foreign ownership of land uncharacteristically produces opposition to foreign direct investment (FDI) relative to other assets. I study how large-scale foreign land purchases affect individual views of FDI in host regions.
