Cabinet Roles, Coalition Conflict, and Perceived Policy Clarity under Multi-party Governments

Brief Overview

We study voters' perceived policy clarity of coalition parties and suggest that voters use several heuristics to update their perceptions. Using original surveys from six European countries, we show evidence consistent with our expectations.
