Effects of Statements by Public Speakers on Prejudices towards Refugees: Results from Two Survey Experiments in Germany

Brief Overview

Based on two survey experiments conducted in Germany in late 2022 and early 2023 this paper shows that reference to the right of asylum by public speakers with high moral authority is able to reduce prejudices against refugees.
