Colonial Partition and Ethnic Voting in Sub-Saharan Africa

Brief Overview

We argue that, in contemporary sub-Saharan Africa, members of ethnic groups that were partitioned during the colonization process are less likely to vote along ethnic lines than members of groups that have not been partitioned.
