Which Parties are Stronger? The Effects of Legislative Constraints

Brief Overview

This article advances knowledge on the causes of party strength. I argue that greater legislative constraints enhance the influence of other party leaders, and therefore, they might create opportunities for other party leaders to strengthen parties.
