How Fans and Celebrities Reinforce Nationalism in China?

Brief Overview

We analyze conversations between 141 Chinese celebrities and their followers to understand who drives and facilitates nationalistic narratives. Our findings suggest that nationalist trends are spearheaded by fans, with celebrities responding.
