Attitudes toward Syrian Refugees and Contemporary Voting Behavior in Türkiye

Brief Overview

The paper examines the relationship between stereotypes against Syrian refugees and contemporary voting behavior in Türkiye. We find that negative stereotypes about Syrian refugees predict voting for opposition parties as opposed to AK Party.
