Does Online Counter-Speech Reduce Sexism? Evidence from South Korea

Brief Overview

Using a large-scale survey experiment in South Korea, we show that counter-speech not only leads to the public’s rejection of misogynistic online hate speech, but also to a reduction in sexism and out-group hostility.
