Encouraging Crossover Voting in Congressional Primaries

Brief Overview

In four preregistered survey and field experiments, we show that voters in open primary states can be induced to "crossover" vote, or turnout to the primary of the party with which they do not identify, in survey experimental and real-world contexts.
