Voter ID laws on the Emergence of Women Candidates

Brief Overview

I argue that implementation of voter ID laws causes uncertainty regarding the size of potential voters. Using the Candidate Characteristics Cooperative data, I test whether voter ID laws decreases the number of women and women of color candidates.
