Model Legislation and Text-borrowing in the Diffusion of LGBTQ Policy

Brief Overview

In this paper we track the influence of interest groups in policy diffusion by tracking text from model legislation. We find evidence of text borrowing in both anti and pro-LGBTQ policy and model the deteriminants of greater levels of text borrowing.
